Creftow Gallery was started in 1990 after the closure of AT & EM Bray, a furniture

shop which preceded the Gallery on the same site. The idea, for a gallery, was

born out of the West Cornwall Art & Craft group which lost its premises in 1985. Ceramics by members of WCA&C were in fact displayed between and on items

of furniture for several years before the furniture shop closed so the opening of

Creftow seemed a fitting alternative.

There are now works displayed by over 20 artists working in Cornwall in the gallery.
