I
use interiors or the landscape in a personal way and hope to
convey in my work ,shared experience of inhabited space ,memory
and traces of the past.
I work slowly in layers using
mixed media, but mainly egg tempera, pigments and gesso. With my
smaller watercolours, drawings and etchings, I record
impressions and ideas as a form of note taking.
Besides the Creftow
Gallery I have shown work in various galleries in and outside
Cornwall including the Royal Cornwall Museum, The Penwith
Gallery and Bologna Italy.
